Start an Internet affiliate business and you won't even need your own product to sell, someone else handles the sale and delivery of the goods to your customer. There are many ways to promote affiliate programs, some are harder to succeed at then others. If you are looking to start an online business here is my suggestion.

If you do not own a web site already I recommend that you start your own internet business where I started which is to build a small web site around a topic that you have great interest in. It doesn't need to be more than 3-10 pages. I suggest you stay tightly focused on one topic or one aspect of a topic, for instance if you like golfing don't try to do a big golf web site that tries to please everyone. Pick one tight little area and master it; like 'golf clubs'. You should do a keyword search on 'golf clubs' and find out what people are looking for right now. Do not try to guess. Ideally you would pick 3-10 of those key word phrases and build a web page of content for each phrase. Just as an example I would pick 'golf clubs used', 'golf club review', 'discount golf club', 'golf club set'. Name each page of your web site after these phrases using hyphens between keywords like this ... golf-club-review.htm

And choose a key word rich domain name for this site, I would pick http://golf-club-review.com

A small, theme based mini sites like this one should be designed to get traffic by obtaining a high search engine position. Your site would be a search engine magnetic because it's got a keyword-strong domain name, honest and clean meta tags, the proper keyword density through out each article. To achieve keyword density you would focus on a popular search term (from the list above) use it in the headline of your article, your page, repeat it in the file name extension and also well in the body copy. This is what the search engines see as relevant content.

Properly optimized mini sites only need to be between 3 and 10 pages to rank very highly in the search engines. And a high ranking along with good content should get you a lot of links from other related sites which not only brings in steady free traffic but will also get you a more favorable ranking in the search engines. Unless you're prepared to buy most of your traffic, it's important that you add content to increase your search engine ranking and benefit from the tons of free traffic they will send your way.

With mini content sites , because they're quick to build with site build it and low-cost, you can just follow the money. It's very easy to find out what is in demand and supply it. Take any successful affiliate program that pays well and build a mini content site around it. You can take any hot, popular, fast selling, product and build a small content site to sell it. Look up the most searched for words or phrases on the web, find an affiliate program related to those words, and then just build a mini site around them.
